The Bride and Groom MUST be present when applying for a Florida marriage license, sign the application form and take an oath to the truthfulness of the information provided to the clerk of court office. The marriage license must be used within 60 days of the issue date and can be used in any county in the State of Florida. The license fee is paid directly to the clerk of court.
Securing your marriage license by mail is a convenient way to have all your marriage license paperwork done before arriving in Florida. The Florida marriage license by mail (in Absentia) is a legal document and exactly the same as if you would apply for in person.
*Please note: We cannot submit for the marriage license by Mail until we are within 70-days of your ceremony. Example: 12/10/18 ceremony date (Apply for license on 10/02/18).
Standard price of license by mail fee includes shipping the documents to be processed via Fed Ex ground, or two day delivery. Fed Ex ground is included in our filing fee.
It is essential that you and your guests arrive on time. Sunset ceremonies are held one to two hours before sunset, subject to availability, package, location, and number of attendees.
We have no control over the weather and will work with you in making changes to your wedding location, time and date as best we can.
Life's A Beach Wedding reserves the right to make changes as needed to accommodate a new location.
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your wedding date, time, and location. Whichever package you choose, only a $200 deposit is necessary to secure the date. The balance is due 30 days prior to the wedding date. Secure on-line payment is available through PayPal.
We understand this is a very important day for the Bride and Groom, their families and friends. We promise that we will do our best to provide a pleasant, memorable, and fun experience. Beach, outdoor and destination weddings are NOT for everyone. Our wedding ceremony services are simple and limited.
